Now, I'll be honest. At the beginning of November, I made a mental note that I would take this month to remember to be thankful. But this month has flown by and all I can remember is being grouchy! Ugh! I guess with the hustle of birthday parties, teaching, soccer wrapping up, and everything in between, I have gotten caught up in being bothered by the "busyness" and not taken the time to be thankful. So here's my goal for the week----
pause.
every day.
{breathe}
give thanks to our Lord for His wonderful blessings in my life.
I have so much to be thankful for...{so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much, so much (clap) to be thankful for}
And this shouldn't be a hard thing...I have the whole week off. No teaching. Just a dentist appointment (for myself that is...taking Miles with me so he can see it's not so bad), Miles MDO feast (which I have already gotten my assigned meal item for .check.), and getting our house back in working order from the "busyness" of the month! And all I have to have ready for Thanksgiving meal is green beans! How easy is that?!
Then, maybe I'll think about Christmas decorations!

LG- I really thought the picture you posted was your tree and I was about to tell you how beautiful it was and then out of jealousy get started on mine! LOL! After reading your blog...I too will continue to be "thankful" and think about Christmas decorations at the END of the week! Have a fun and restful week off!
Hey Lindsey Grace! Love your blog! Just wanted to say, I totally understand! It is so easy to get wrapped up in all of the "stuff" we have to do, and all of the "hats" we wear! I have to do the same thing, just stop, chill out, and thank God for ALL he has blessed us with!
I was worried about Davis last year and all of our Christmas decorations, but to my surprise, he did GREAT, and never bothered them! Owen might surprise you :)!! Hope y'all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
Christmas is definitely coming and truly now is the time that we must pay attention to our family and to ourselves as well. Going to the dentist is one of the great things that we can do to take care of ourselves. And like you, I also brought my child to her Easley dentist and have her teeth cleaned and checked for cavities. Easley, SC dentists are reputable and trusted when it comes to giving great and excellent dental services for their clients of all ages.
